Paul’s corporate career spans 20 years with vast expertise in leading Operations, Business Development, Distribution, Product Management, and Finance departments. He led a team at Goldman Sachs during the bank’s launch of GS Bank USA taking the operation from concept to $24B in assets in less than 24 months. At GE he worked on high visibility projects like raising institutional capital for the real estate business, creating partnerships in the alternative fuel space with large automotive fleet manufacturers, and restructuring an entire sales and support organization. Then at Apple he was responsible for all global education and enterprise finance programs under the Apple Financial Services brand. Together with reseller financing programs, this business grew in excess of $1B in lending volume. He joined the cannabis industry in 2016 as a CFO where he was instrumental in growing revenue 8x during his tenure. He joined Grupo Flor in Sept 2017 leading and expanding the company from real estate to a fully vertically integrated cannabis company.

He has 17 years’ experience in commodities, distribution, manufacturing, and finance as well as 7 years accounting public practice experience with a Big 4 firm. He has expertise in executing complex strategy to deliver corporate finance objectives, ensuring sustainable business practices. Mark has been a public company CFO (NYSE: Eagle Materials) and, as CFO of the commodities conglomerate ECOM Agroindustrial, was instrumental in growing revenue from $2.2B to $5.5B over a 7 year period.

Since 2009 Gavin has been a CA cannabis business attorney representing collectives under the Prop 215 medical structure. He has been integral in the political process of Monterey County and State regulatory structures. He co-founded several successful CA cannabis business operations between supply chain and hardware including; Reaper, hand-held power shears for trimming cannabis, Indus Holding Co., which launched Altai Brands, a low-dosage edibles brand and brought Colorado’s Dixie Elixirs to the California market. Gavin is a member of the California State Bar Association, a legislative committee member of the California Cannabis Industry Association and is a founding member of California Cannabis Manufacturer’s Association.

Deep understanding of the intersection of compliance, legal, and real estate and how local ordinances affect property values and acquiring property that is compliant with local and state laws. Mike has owned and run restaurants and retail establishments across a range of industries spanning multiple locations all with year over year growth, and he sold all businesses for substantial profit. Managed a $20,000,000 private real estate portfolio for 7 years with an annual IRR per annum between 15%-65% returns to the fund. Mike has been instrumental in the aggressive real estate strategy Grupo has practiced since it’s founding ensuring ongoing foundational revenue.

Owned and managed car dealerships that did in excess of $20,000,000 in annual sales and owned and managed several restaurants in Northern California with sales from 3-5 million annually. Omar has been integral in strategic real estate and cannabis license acquisitions Grupo has made since its inception.

He is a 3rd generation wine and spirits distributor affording him extensive knowledge of how to maximize sales and satisfy customers in highly regulated complex markets. Since 2014 Wes has been building successful sales and distribution businesses in the CA cannabis industry in San Diego, LA and Orange County. He was most recently the founder and CEO of Shelf Life, Southern California’s leading distributor of some of the most recognized brands in CA cannabis.

Sam is a crop scientist who studied horticulture under world-renown plant scientist Dr. Cary Mitchell at Purdue University. He has deep expertise in hydroponics, LED lighting, propagation, and all aspects of plant production. He has worked on all types of crops during his career with a strong emphasis on cannabis cultivation. Sam acted as lead consultant to NASA working on their strategy for growing live plants on the International Space Station. He was most recently recruited by Fluence Bioengineering to head up their research studies on optimal LED light exposures for indoor cannabis cultivation before joining Grupo.

Throughout Kendra’s 19-year legal career, she has helped clients navigate the complex and ever-changing regulations governing the production, manufacture, and sale of chemical, agriculture, and consumer products. Most recently, Kendra served as an attorney for JRG Attorneys in Salinas, California in the cannabis practice group and prior to that she was a VP and an Associate General Counsel at Chiquita Brands International, Inc. In this position, she managed all of the legal affairs for Chiquita in North America and for their various entities such as Fresh Express and TransFresh before joining Grupo Flor.

With over 20 years worldwide experience in Global Supply Chain Management in the tobacco industry, David worked for Philip Morris, RJ Reynolds and Japan Tobacco on three continents. David has operated large-scale cigarette factories in Europe, Russia and Asia-Pacific, leading manufacturing services at JTI Petro in St. Petersburg, Russia between 2007-2009, where a single factory produced and shipped 87 billion cigarettes in 2008 for the Russian domestic market with wholesale revenues of $5.3 billion. David joined Grupo Flor in 2017 with the objective of automating manufacturing processes for smokeables, vapes, and other manufactured cannabis products. He spent 18 months building and leading Grupo Flor’s manufacturing facility in Salinas, California before relocating to Switzerland to lead Grupo’s European Operations.
